Conflict and Characterization

I can analyze how conflict affects characterization.

Today we read chapters 10-12 of Freak the Mighty. As you read the chapters, look for different conflicts that the characters face. (You can also read the summary here.)

In addition to reading the chapters, we also learned about King Arthur, one of Freak's favorite topics. Click here to learn about King Arthur.

Once we had finished the chapters, we discussed the conflicts in the chapter and how they affect the characters. This was a lead in to our newest assignment- shields. View the assignment below, being sure to follow directions carefully. We had about ten minutes of class time to work on it, so we will finish it in class tomorrow.
